What is CTR?
CTR stands for Click-Through Rate, the terms is used in online advertising and marketing to determine the success of a marketing campaign.
CTR is usually termed in percentages and it determines the amount of click through an advert initiates, compared the number of times an advert is displayed.
Why is CTR important?
By finding out an advert’s click through rate, a marketer can determine the success of advert in terms of the sites it appears, the time of day and the advert’s attractiveness.
A marketer can experiment with an advert, the sites it appears and the time of day, thereby making a marketing campaign more successful over time.
